NASEM Committee Enhancing Global Health Security Through International Biosecurity and Health Engagement Programs

Dr. Berger is a member of an ad hoc committee of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine that was established to examine international health security programs that promote biosafety, biosecurity, disease surveillance, health security and biorisk management with foreign partners. This committee focuses on programs supported by the Department of Defense’s Cooperative Biological Engagement Program, now called the Biological Threat Reduction Program.
