Multiple Sclerosis longitudinal studies

For several clients, Gryphon collects, manages, and analyzes longitudinal data on a population based representative sample of 4,600 individuals with multiple sclerosis. To help our clients evaluate health care solutions for MS patients, our cross sectional and longitudinal analyses will measure illness characteristics, change over time, and treatment, economic, and psychosocial outcomes.

ADHD Meta Analysis

To better understand the risk factors contributing to ADHD, Gryphon performed a systematic literature review and meta-analysis for CDC. After extracting and coding data from 1,071 empirical studies, we used meta-regression and random effects modeling to examine the relationship between each risk factor and disease burden in the population. Meta analysis results that summarized the entire body of  empirical ADHD research were designed to help families and communities understand appropriate risk reduction strategies.

Modeling Risk of Infection from Agricultural Pathogens

For a site-specific study of the risk of a facility planned to perform research on pathogens of agricultural importance, Gryphon constructed a model that estimates the risk of an infection in susceptible species due to contamination on a laboratory worker. This unique model was based on detailed agent data from the biomedical literature and primary data we collected on the movement patterns of laboratorians working with animal pathogens.
