Landy Sun

Landy Sun holds a BS in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University. He leverages his extensive technical and analytical skillset alongside his experience with Python, R, Matlab, GIS, and SQL in his work at Gryphon. Landy specializes in conducting risk assessments and performing data analysis to support decision-making for policies governing biosecurity and biosafety topics, including emerging infectious diseases and intentional CBRN attacks. He has also led the development of virtual training tools for instructing laboratory adherence to biosafety/biosecurity guidelines, and for training volunteers and researchers in emergency response scenarios.

Landy is an avid outdoorsman, you can often find him rock climbing, snowboarding, or riding his electric unicycle. In his downtime, he enjoys playing on the piano, with covers of Muse and the Strokes being his favorite songs!
